A Mohali court on Wednesday fixed August 1 as the next date for hearing on the bail application of SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia held in a disproportionate assets case.
After four hours of hearing in the case, the prosecution sought the next date of hearing for arguments.
Majithia’s lawyers claimed that the government was regularly using time-gaining tactics in the bail case. They also said that they had moved an application for live streaming the court proceedings.
Earlier, the court fixed August 2 as the next date of hearing in Majithia’s plea for the change of barracks.
