Armed bikers rob petrol station staff

Three bike-borne miscreants allegedly robbed Rs 43,500 from the staff of a petrol station at gunpoint on Saturday.

Dharam Pal, who works at New Taj filling station at Usmankhera village, told the police that three miscreants with their faces covered reached at the petrol station at 5 am. One of them pointed a revolver on the salesman and forced the other staff to stay inside the office, stated Pal.

The miscreants snatched mobile phones and took away Rs 43,500. The police said a case had been registered under Sections 127 (2) and 309 (2) of the BNS and Sections 25, 27, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act.

ASI Sarabjit Singh said two suspects had been identified as Jagjit Singh and Raman. He said the suspects would be held at the earliest.
