In Ludhiana, Arvind Kejriwal assures people free health care in case AAP forms next govt in Punjab

Announces free and best treatment facilities for people of Punjab

AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday made a list of announcements to be taken up in case AAP forms the next government in Punjab.

These are the six points of Kejriwal’s second guarantee:

If AAP forms government in 2022, free and best treatment facilities for the people of Punjab.

There would be provision of all free medicines, tests and operations at government hospitals. All equipment and machines would be made available. "Even if a surgery costs Rs 20 lakh, it would be free of cost in Punjab.”

Every person of Punjab would be issued a health card. Those who have the health cards, AAP government in Punjab would ensure best treatment for them.

As many as 16,000 mohalla clinics and village clinics to be opened in villages and wards on the lines of mohalla clinics of Delhi.

All government hospitals in Punjab will be upgraded and all facilities will be provided. New hospitals would be opened.

In road accident cases, victims will be provided free treatment.
