Mohan Sharma, former Project Director of the Red Cross Drug De-addiction Centre in Sangrur, has been invited by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to speak at a media workshop on drug abuse, scheduled for November 5 in Jalandhar.

An author of five books on drug abuse, Sharma would serve as a speaker and resource person at the workshop. The ‘Vartalap’ initiative aims to promote meaningful dialogue and discussion between the government and the media on this critical issue.
