Bid to defame Arvind Kejriwal: Raghav Chadha

Tribune News Service

Chandigarh, February 17

With Arvind Kejriwal under the target of the Congress, SAD and BJP, state co-incharge of the AAP Raghav Chadha has said these parties have come together to stop them from forming the government in Punjab.

“As part of a conspiracy, Congress, BJP and Akali leaders are making false statements and spreading disinformation to defame Kejriwal.”

Chadha said during the Delhi polls too, Opposition parties had said Kejriwal was “a Naxalite and a terrorist”. Calling Kejriwal a nationalist, Chadha said he had built world-class schools and hospitals in Delhi. Bus fares had been waived for women and Rs 1 crore was being given to the kin of martyred soldiers, he added.

When parties could not find any evidence against Kejriwal, they resorted to lying to sully his image as part of a conspiracy, he claimed. —
