The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jalandhar celebrated its resounding victory in the Delhi Assembly elections with great enthusiasm on Tuesday. Led by district president Sushil Sharma, party workers burst firecrackers, distributed laddoos, and sweets at the BJP office near Sheetla Mata Mandir, marking the occasion with a vibrant display of joy.

The celebrations were accompanied by the beats of dhol and drums, as BJP supporters waved flags and cheered. Key party leaders, including National Executive Member Manoranjan Kalia, State General Secretary Rakesh Rathore, State Vice President KD Bhandari, Senior BJP leader Karamjit Kaur Chaudhary, and Former MLA Sheetal Angural, among others, participated in the event. BJP leaders attributed the victory to the public’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the development policies under his leadership. Sushil Sharma emphasised that the people of Delhi had voted for the BJP’s development model and rejected AAP, further expressing that the double-engine government was the clear choice for the electorate.

“The massive mandate reflects the growing faith in Modi ji and his vision for national development,” Sharma said. “People are supporting those who work, not those who make false promises. This historic win signifies that voters have endorsed the development work happening across the country.”
