BJP notice to Yuva Morcha Punjab state ex-chief Mohit Gupta

The BJP has issued a show-cause notice to its former Yuva Morcha state president Mohit Gupta over “anti-party” activities.

The notice issued by party’s Bathinda Urban president Vinod Kumar Binta said Gupta had been issuing statements against the policies of the Union Government, besides central and state leadership.

“On the directions of BJP state president Ashwani Sharma, we are sending this show-cause notice. Within two days of receipt of this notice, you should send a reply to the BJP state president explaining why disciplinary action should not be taken against you,” it said. A few days ago, Gupta had issued a statement condemning the party move to initiate action against senior leader Anil Joshi.

Gupta said: “He had raised the issues of Punjab, traders and farmers only to strengthen the party. But if they see it as anti-party, those at helm should change their approach.” — TNS
