BJP leader Tikshan Sud on Tuesday accused Minister for Industry Sunder Sham Arora of being involved in “illegal” land deals. He alleged the minister and his son acted in cahoots with government officials in several land deals.

Alleging a scam in the sale of JCT Ltd’s prime land in Mohali, Sud alleged the minister was linked to the buyer who purchased the land. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
