State BJP leader Manoranjan Kalia on Saturday accused the AAP government of failing to present even a basic account of works done in Punjab’s villages during its tenure.
Kalia said since the announcement of the zila parishad and panchayat samiti elections, AAP ministers and leaders have held more than 10 press conferences, but none focused on rural development. Instead, he alleged, they resorted to baseless attacks to divert attention from core rural issues.
He said problems such as water scarcity, poor road conditions, inadequate health services and incomplete development projects continued to plague villages across the state.
