BJP’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa slams AAP over poor law and order in Punjab
BJP MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa slammed the AAP government in Punjab, alleging that the state is witnessing a breakdown of law and order under its rule.
In a tweet posted on Monday, Sirsa accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal of engaging in "PR stunts" in Ludhiana while Punjab’s industrialists are struggling with rising crime and an ineffective administration.
“While Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann stage PR stunts in Ludhiana, Punjab’s industrialists are sounding the alarm… Law and order is collapsing under AAP’s misrule,” Sirsa wrote on X. He alleged that crime is surging, industries are suffocating but the AAP government is "missing in action."
The BJP leader’s remarks come at a time when AAP is facing increasing criticism over governance in Punjab, particularly in handling crime and economic concerns. He also posted a video of a businessman narrating his ordeal that the community was scared of gangsters and the deteriorating law and order in the state.
Sirsa claimed that business owners and citizens of the state were confronting Kejriwal with the harsh truth that his party had failed Punjab. He labelled the current state of affairs as "anarchy in a business suit".
