Chandigarh, January 7

The Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ekta-Ugrahan) today accused the BJP-led NDA government of resorting to propaganda to further its divisive game plan for political goals. In a statement, BKU president Joginder Singh Ugrahan and general secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokri Kalan said the unions had no plan to hold a demonstration to block the Prime Minister’s movement during his Ferozepur visit.

“No untoward incident occurred. There was no attempt to harm the Prime Minister. Not a single suspicious person was found near his convoy when it was stopped,” they stressed.
