Group leader Balwinder Kaur said: “The group left for the Tikri border on Saturday afternoon to take part in the farmers’ protest. History is evident that whenever there was any threat to the lives and livelihood of people of the nation, its citizens irrespective of their caste, creed, religion or gender have stood against it. Divisive forces can do no harm now as this movement will be fought collectively.” — TNS
