Grenade seized near IB

Ferozepur: Personnel of the 155 Battalion of the BSF seized a grenade during the fencing work near the Gatti Hayat Border Outpost on Friday. A labourer involved in the smart fencing work noticed an iron-like object and alerted the BSF troops. On inspection, the object was confirmed to be a grenade. Security forces are conducting further checks in the area to ensure safety. TNS

Temple in Abohar looted

Abohar: Unidentified individuals targeted a small temple located on the premises of the Abohar Civil Hospital and stole cash from its donation box in broad daylight. The miscreants entered the temple and used a saw to break the lock of the donation box, making off with offerings collected over the past year. OC
