Sanitation workers on strike, garbage piles up in Ropar

Ropar: Heaps of garbage are piling up in various parts of the Ropar city as sanitation workers of the municipal council have gone on strike. They are demanding regularisation of their services. They are also protesting against the appointment of supervisors from the Punjab Ex-Service Corporation.
