Mohali: A Mohali court today adjourned the sentence in the Mohali sex scandal to April 7. The CBI court had convicted former Moga SSP Devinder Singh Garcha, SP (Headquarters) Paramdip Singh Sandhu, and two other cops inspector Amarjit Singh and sub-inspector Raman Kumar under the Prevention of Corruption Act in the 18-year-old Moga sex racket case. Barjinder Singh, alias Makhan, son of former SAD minister, and Sukhraj Singh have been acquitted of all  charges in the case.

Murder case cracked

Muktsar: With the arrest of five persons, the police on Friday claimed to have solved the blind murder of a grocery shop owner from Kotbhai village. Rajesh Kumar (45) was found murdered at his residence at Kotbhai village on Wednesday. The police said he was killed by his second wife, her paramour, his sister-in-law and two other persons.
