The BSF intercepted a Pakistani drone and seized 498 gm heroin and an empty pistol magazine near the border outpost Joginder along the India-Pakistan border in this sector.
The BSF troops deployed at the outpost reportedly heard a buzzing sound of drone that was seen entering India from the Pakistan side. Following the standard operating procedure, the BSF troops intercepted the drone using technical counter measures.
During a search operation later, a consignment of heroin and an empty pistol magazine were found near Raja Rai village. BSF officials said it was a Chinese DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone.
