BSP suffers setback in Tibbi as 50 families join AAP
In a major political development, on Wednesday, 50 families from the Tibbi area of the Phagwara Assembly left the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). The new members were welcomed by the AAP constituency in-charge Joginder Singh Mann.
Joginder, who was in Tibbi to inaugurate a renovated disposable park, expressed his gratitude to the newly inducted members, including Madan Lal, Satish Kumar Bunty, Jeet Ram, Balbir Patwari, Amar Saini, Bhaskar Ji, Rajvinder Mahi, Maninder Mall and Makhan Sidhu.
The members said they were inspired by the development work carried out under the leadership of CM Mann. They added that the various development projects were a key factor in their decision to align with AAP. Joginder assured the newcomers of full respect and active participation in the party.
The event was seen as a political boost for AAP in the Phagwara constituency, while delivering a blow to the BSP’s influence in the region.
