The police here have arrested two persons of Fazilka for allegedly breaking into a jewellery shop at Khuyiansarwer village on the Abohar-Sriganganagar road.

The accused have been identified as Gurmukh and Komal, alias Kamal.

Show owner Mangat Ram had lodged an FIR on November 28, alleging that unidentified persons had decamped with jewellery and other valuables worth Rs40 lakh. After examining the CCTV footage, staff of CIA was able to identify the suspects. — OC
