Chandigarh, June 13
Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh on Saturday called for strict checking of entrants from other states, particularly Delhi. He said any Punjabi living in Delhi was welcome to seek treatment in Punjab for which he/she needed to reserve a hospital bed on the recommendation of a Delhi hospital.
On the need to seal state’s borders, he said 20,000 persons from Haryana and Delhi had arrived in 6,500 vehicles on Friday alone. Hence, the government was looking to make entry norms more stringent.
