The investigation into the “tatkal” train ticket scam has reached Gidderbaha in Muktsar district as well. A clerk posted at the Gidderbaha railway station has been suspended in that regard.

The Vigilance wing of Northern Railways in Delhi is investigating the matter, conducting raids at various places.

Mohan Lal Meena, Station Master of the Gidderbaha railway station, said, “A clerk has been suspensed for issuing outstation tickets. The Vigilance wing from Delhi had received some complaints and is investigating the matter.”
