Close shave for Ferozepur AAP MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar

Ferozepur (Urban) MLA Ranbir Singh Bhullar had a close shave as the vehicle he was travelling in skidded off the road near Dheera Patra village on Friday evening.

The AAP legislator said he was going to visit flood affected villages in the border area when the accident took place in a bid to save a couple coming on a bike from the opposite direction. His car turned turtle, but he had a narrow escape. The couple was shifted to a hospital by the MLA’s team.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.
