Phagwara, February 3
Four unidentified robbers snatched an i-20 car from cloth merchant Suraj Ghaba at gunpoint at Gandhi Chowk, just 100 m from the City police station here, on Sunday night.
He came from Amritsar after purchasing goods and stopped his car in front of his shop when the robbers struck. One of them snatched the car keys and fled in it with his accomplices.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Manwinder Singh and City police station SHO Onkar Singh Brar rushed to the spot and scanned CCTV footage.
This was the 22nd crime incident in Phagwara since January 1.
