CM following BJP-RSS model, says Pargat Singh
Jalandhar Cantt MLA Pargat Singh on Friday claimed that AAP’s Punjab model was a farce and it was actually a BJP’s political agenda to wipe out the Congress and narrow down to two-party system of BJP and AAP in the country.
Questioning the CM Bhagwant Mann’s style of functioning, the former Cabinet minister said there was no Punjab model as such and he was actually following the model of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), ideological mentor of the ruling BJP.
He said the BJP and AAP shared the same ideology. “The CM watched interests of the BJP in every action he took. Be it granting prosecution sanction against the Dera Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in the Maur blast case, not opposing the draft UGC rules on the selection of Vice-Chancellors or acting against the black sheep in the AAP government that were involved in drug trade, no action had been taken,” he said.
Referring to the statement of Amritsar MLA Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh on complicity of certain AAP leaders in drug trade in Punjab, he said the CM had failed to take any action so far.
Pargat Singh claimed that the CM was cozying up with Home Minister Amit Shah and his relations with AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal would be exposed in the coming days.
