The Chief Minister emphasised the urgent need for constructing these roads, as most of them have been neglected for over six years, exceeding their intended lifespan.

The construction of link roads will be prioritised based on their importance, classified as top priority, priority, and needy roads. The CM said an on-ground survey will be conducted to identify areas requiring immediate attention and ensure need-based construction. He asked the PWD and Mandi Board authorities to ensure that every penny is spent judiciously, with contractors responsible for maintaining the roads for five years.
