Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Sunday hailed teachers and school heads for making the state achieve first rank in the National Achievement Survey-2024.

He said Punjab ranked 29th during the NAS in 2017.The CM said the success was achieved only due to the hard work of teachers and policies of the state government.

“Besides, providing proper infrastructure and equipment to schools, the AAP government had decided that except teaching, no other work would be taken from the teachers,” said Mann.

He said the state government was also paying attention on skill development of students.

While Mann presided over the function, former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was the chief guest.

Kejriwal lauded the Mann government for providing proper infrastructure.
