Bathinda, April 13

The Bathinda police on Wednesday arrested a conman who was posing as an IPS officer. Sukhwinder Singh, a resident of Raipur village in Mansa, had taken a box of liquor bottles from the Maur police station SHO earlier posing as an IPS officer and now he was demanding liquor bottles from Talwandi Sabo’s Singo police post incharge. When he arrived to take it, he was nabbed by the police.

Tejinder Singh, incharge of CIA staff, said Sukhwinder had been cheating people for past over one year. —
