The state police on Wednesday demolished at least two “illegally” constructed properties of two alleged drug peddlers in Jalandhar and Mandi Gobindgarh.
In Jalandhar, the “illegal” shop was located in Dhankiya Mohalla and was allegedly built on government land using drug money by accused Dharminder.
According to Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur, the accused was a habitual offender with six drug cases registered against him.

Fatehgarh Sahib: In Mandi Gobindgarh, the police demolished the “illegally” constructed house of a woman drug peddler.
Superintendent of Police Subham Aggarwal said the house was constructed illegally at Master Colony and it was demolished after getting clearance from the civic authorities. -- OC
