Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann visited Satauj village along with his wife today. He asked the masses to avoid spending huge amount of money on marriage and bhog ceremonies.

“We have organised a small function here and my friends have also come to meet me. Nowadays, marriages and bhogs have become a costly affair. We all need to avoid spending alot as it adds to our debt,” said Mann, adding that the rich could spend, but lower-middle class were taking loans and falling into a debt trap.

He announced to improve various services offered by the state government for the welfare of people.

“Today, I have come here as your son and not as the CM. I want to convey that we will give jobs to unemployed youngsters on merit basis, improve income of farmers and labourers and provide better education and healthcare facilities. We have already taken steps to streamline the system,” said Mann.
