240-kg poppy husk seized in Abohar

Abohar: The police stopped a truck and seized 180 kg poppy husk packed in 10 bags. SI Rakesh Godara said driver Vicky had been held under the NDPS Act. The police also seized 60 kg poppy husk and Rs50,000 from Om Parkash Bishnoi and Sagar Ram. A court remanded Bishnoi in three-day custody and sent Sagar to jail. OC

Action against nagar council
