Former Minister Dr Harbans Lal today appreciated the central government’s decision to give more powers to the BSF. He said the move will help BSF improve operational effectiveness in curbing trans-border crime.
Lashing out at all those, who are opposing the decision, he said that the Centre had taken the decision after the CM Charanjit Singh Channi met Home Minister Amit Shah to strengthen the borders of the state against Pakistan’s nefarious designs. — OC
