Kokri, who is among the several leaders currently leading waves and waves of farmers marching to Delhi, said he slipped from a still-under-construction road divider during the ongoing protest in Jind’s Julana, and had fractures in his arm and his hand.

He was heading towards Delhi to join hordes of farmers marching on the national capital to protest controversial farm laws passed in September.

He has returned to his village, Kokri Kalan, in Moga for further treatment, he said, adding that he will return to Delhi to join the farmers protest once he gets medical attention.
