DGP reviews security at Fatehgarh Sahib Shaheedi Jor Mela

• Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on Friday held a meeting with Fatehgarh Sahib police officials to review security arrangements for the smooth conduct of Shaheedi Jor Mela
• The historic event will be held from December 26 to 28 in the memory of younger Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh
• The DGP said that for the first time, drones would be pressed into service for surveillance and State Disaster Relief Force would be deployed to tackle any untoward incident
• Meanwhile, the annual three-day Shaheedi Jor Mela concluded with a ‘nagar kirtan’ in Ropar on Friday; lakhs of devotees visited the town. TNS
