Rebel Akali leader Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today performed ‘sewa’ at historical Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib as per the directive of Akal Takht.

He performed the guard’s duty and washed utensils at the langar hall.

Dhindsa said he was performing ‘sewa’ as a humble Sikh. He desired to retire from active politics keeping in the wake of his old age and health issues. He said a regional party, SAD, should be strengthened.

He supported the agitation of farmers and urged the Centre to start a dialogue and accept their demands.
