Abohar/Sriganganagar: The Sriganganagar police have arrested a woman and her son in connection with the death of her 27-year-old daughter-in-law. Pallavi was shot dead at her in-laws’ house at the Housing Board Colony on Sunday. Her husband’s younger brother fled after the incident. Pallavi’s father Hem Raj Middha of Anoopgarh alleged his daughter was harassed for dowry. — OC
