DSP Phagwara urges students to strictly follow traffic rules

A traffic awareness week event was held at the School of Eminence in Phagwara under the guidance of SSP Kapurthala Gaurav Toora and SP Phagwara Rupinder Kaur Bhatti. DSP Phagwara Bharat Bhushan Hora inaugurated the event, which coincided with an ongoing football league match as part of the initiative.

In his address to the students, DSP Hora emphasised the critical role of adhering to traffic rules to prevent road accidents. He highlighted that many accidents, often fatal, occur due to negligence in following traffic regulations. “To avoid such tragedies, we must follow traffic rules diligently,” he stressed.

Traffic In-charge Inspector Aman Kumar also conducted an informative session, explaining essential road safety measures. The session included a Q&A segment where students and teachers could clarify their doubts about traffic laws. In addition to promoting traffic awareness, the session encouraged students to avoid substance abuse and lead a disciplined lifestyle.
