According to sources, the wedding was entirely arranged through social media. Kumar revealed that he had been in contact with the bride on Instagram for the past three years, but they had never met in person.

Kumar said that his father even talked to the ‘father’ of the bride over the phone. He and his family were asked to reach at Lohara Chowk in Moga on Friday afternoon. They were informed that a marriage palace had been booked near Geeta Bhawan in Moga. However when they arrived at the venue, they could neither find any marriage palace nor the bride.
