Chandigarh: With eight new cases reported over the past 24 hours, the total number of cases has reached 184 in Punjab. Among the new cases, four were reported from Pathankot, two SAS Nagar and one each from Gurdaspur and Jalandhar. Gurdaspur’s first Covid case surfaced at Bhaini Paswal village in Kahnuwan block. The total number of Covid patients in Mohali district has gone up to 56, highest in the state. tns

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
