Chandigarh, June 18

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today condemned the attack at a gurdwara in Kabul by the terrorists.

“This is an inhuman act and I urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure the safety and security of the Sikhs residing in Kabul,” the CM said in a statement.

The CM said the attack at the gurdwara was a shameful and cowardly act of the terrorists who had targeted innocent Sikhs at the holy shrine. He said the Government of India must flag the issue with the Afghanistan government.

He said a decisive action needs to be taken by the PM in the matter. He said it was unfortunate that the terrorists had not even spared the shrines for carrying out such activities. Mann said the incident had once again proved that the terrorists do not have any religion and their sole aim is to spread terror among the masses.
