Ex-minister Sekhon submits clarification at Akal Takht
Former Shiromani Akali Dal minister Janmeja Singh Sekhon today submitted his clarification at Akal Takht for his involvement in the government when controversial decisions were made, contributing to SAD’s decline. He served as the PWD and Irrigation Minister during the SAD-BJP alliance government in Punjab from 2007 to 2015.
Sekhon expressed his commitment to Akal Takht and stated that he has submitted his written clarification, pledging to accept Akal Takht’s decision. He was among the 17 former ministers who served during SAD tenure from 2007 to 2017. Following a meeting on August 30, led by Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Raghbir Singh, all were instructed to present their written clarifications in person at Akal Takht.
