Ex-MP Jagmeet Singh Brar demands special status for Punjab

Former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar appealed to CM Mann to call an all-party meeting and demand special status for the state from the Central Government.

“This is the lone option to bring the state out of the financial mess. Our state has a much stronger case than other states,” said Jagmeet.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
