Ex-serviceman molests minor girl, arrested

An ex-serviceman has been arrested for allegedly performing obscene acts with a 10-year-old girl in Sriganganagar.

The accused has been identified as Bawa Singh. The case is being investigated by DSP (Women Atrocities and Investigation) Ram Karan.

The police said a case was registered against Bawa on August 27. Mother of the victim said her daughter told her that Bawa performed obscene acts whenever he came to their house.

The complaint said on August 20, the girl was alone at home and the ex-serviceman molested her. On August 26, when Bawa again came to their house and did obscene acts with the girl, her mother recorded a video and submitted it as a proof with cops.
