Fake Punjab Police officers busted, 4 arrested for extortion in Moga

The gang was caught wearing fake uniforms and using a car to move around. According to the police, the gang members posed as policemen to threaten and loot individuals.
Acting on a tip-off, a team from the Ajitwal police station conducted the operation under the supervision of SP (I) Bal Krishan Singla and DSP Anwar Ali. The arrested individuals have been identified as Ravi Singh alias Ravi, Chand Singh alias Kamlu, Gurwinder Singh alias Lali alias Ladi (all residents of Fatehgarh Korotana), and Dhira Singh of Tartariye Wala, district Moga. Two others, Darshan Singh alias Raju and Satnam Singh alias Seera, are still at large
The police seized a white Swift Dzire car, two NGO-rank uniforms, and three constable-rank uniforms from the accused. A case has been registered at the Ajitwal police station.
