KMM leaders described the meeting as positive and constructive, expressing confidence that both forums might hold joint programmes under a common minimum programme in the near future.

The meeting took place in a cordial environment with detailed discussions. SKM leaders said they would place the matter before their general body for discussion.

The KMM criticised CM Bhagwant Mann for allegedly failing to take floods seriously. Farmers across the state have suffered massive losses, yet the government has failed to respond effectively. The government should provide Rs 70,000 per acre compensation to affected farmers and Rs 7,000 to agricultural labourers.
