The BJP state president Sunil Jakhar has said that the fear of the government has disappeared among criminals, and the Chief Minister, who is “scared” of his leaders in Delhi, is himself unable to take any decisions. As a result, under this inexperienced government, the law and order situation in the state is continuously deteriorating.Sharing a message on his X handle, Jakhar wrote: “First, there were threats to blow up police stations, and the walls of the police stations were raised. Now, similar threat mails have been received by schools in Amritsar, leading to their closure. Even during Punjab’s darkest period, such things were unheard of. In which direction is the AAP’s inexperienced government taking Punjab? The fear of the government has completely vanished among criminals.” and the Chief Minister, out of fear of those in Delhi, cannot take any decision on his own.”

Earlier, similar threats were issued to the Darbar Sahib. Apart from gangsterism, separatist forces were also continuously re-emerging in the state.

He said Punjab was a border state, and a capable government was essential here, but the Aam Aadmi Party government has completely failed in fulfilling its responsibilities. Hardly a day passes without the news of a serious crime in the state.
