Fire breaks out in solar panel room at Abohar grain market

A fire broke out in the solar panel room at the New Grain Market in Abohar, causing substantial damage. However, the fire was brought under control by market staff before it could spread further.

The mandi supervisor, Surinder Singh, reported nearby shopkeepers alerted him to smoke coming from the solar panel room. Upon arriving at the scene, he discovered a large fire had ignited within the solar panel system. With the help of employees, the fire was quickly contained.

Surinder said the wiring of the solar panel had been completely destroyed in the blaze. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined and an investigation is underway. The extent of the damage has also not yet been fully assessed.
