Abohar: A fire broke out in a gurdwara in Sriganganagar’s 8Q village on Monday, damaging four ‘birs’ of the Guru Granth Sahib. A granthi put out the fire. Sikh leader Tejinderpal Singh Timma said the gurdwara caretaker had forgotten to turn off the electricity supply changer, which caused short-circuit. OC
