Three persons lost lives in road mishaps due to thick fog today. Kuldeep Kumar (26), a private lab technician in Khuyiansarwer village, was injured critically as his bike reportedly collided with a bullock-cart near Sayeedwala village on the Abohar-Sriganganagar road when he was returning to his native village Dharampura today evening. The ambulance that was called to shift him to the Civil Hospital here reportedly developed a snag. A private car was then arranged to take him to the hospital but on reaching here, he was declared brought dead. He had celebrated wedding anniversary on December 10 and daughter’s birthday yesterday.
Rajesh Kumar (21) of Beganwali village died as he reportedly lost control over his bike and it jumped while negotiating a pothole on the road while going to Ramsara village, 10 km from here.
Devi Lal (34) was killed, his wife Kesar Devi (32) and daughter Kanu (2) sustained injuries as the car they were travelling in reportedly collided with Rajasthan Roadways bus near Chak 73NP village. The family was going to Anoopgarh for a social assignment. The deceased was working as a constable and attached to the district police chief in Sriganganagar. The bus has been impounded and its driver booked.
