Former Bombay High Court Justice RY Ganoo visited several historical sites in Fazilka during a one-day tour of the border town on Sunday. He was warmly welcomed on the court premises.

Accompanied by his wife, Justice Ganoo toured the ancient Periwal Haveli and the 85-year-old clock tower in the heart of Fazilka. He was joined by District and Sessions Judge Jatinder Kaur, Additional Sessions Judge Ajit Pal Singh, Chief Judicial Magistrate Amrit Mahi, Judicial Magistrate First Class Praveen Singh, and Municipal Council president Surendra Sachdeva.

The group also attended the Retreat (flag-lowering) ceremony at the Sadiqi Joint Check Post (JCP) on the India-Pakistan border, where they felicitated BSF officers and jawans. Socialites Liladhar Sharma and Manil Sethi provided insights into Fazilka’s rich history. Later, Justice Ganoo and the delegation visited the Asafwala War Memorial to pay homage to martyred soldiers.
