Even after four days of murder of a woman in Chogwan gangwar here, gangster Abhiraj Singh, alias Gopi Mahal, is still at large. The deceased, Paramjit Kaur, was the mother of another gangster Gagandeep Singh, who sustained bullet injuries in the incident. His condition is serious and is under treatment at a private hospital here.

Though the police claimed that they had got the clues about the whereabouts of the accused and that raids were on to nab them, there had been no success in arresting them. Besides, Gopi Mahal, the police have booked Amarbir Singh of Mahal village and Gurjant Singh of Chogwan. — TNS
