The Muktsar police and the Counter Intelligence Wing stated that they recently arrested four members of the Bambiha gang in a joint operation. The operation led to the seizure of a pistol, four live cartridges and a country-made weapon.

Muktsar SP Manmeet Singh Dhillon said three persons Gurjivan Singh, Maninder Singh and Surinder Singh were arrested with a pistol and four cartridges on Monday.

“During questioning, they revealed that on the directions of Sukhpreet Singh, alias Shampy, they had opened fire outside a residence in Patiala on November 29. Shampy, who belongs to Dabwali in Haryana, was arrested along with a country-made weapon from Gidderbaha on Wednesday. Shampy admitted that he was in contact with Jas Behbal Kalan, who is presently living abroad,” said the SP.
